How the other half live

This half built place is just by Asha's school...it was home to about 80 squatters. a few months ago it went up in flames, almost everyone escaped...but what shocked Ibiza was that the majority of squatters had jobs and yet still couldn't afford to pay rent somewhere...

I spent the morning either with the homeless guys or doing odds and ends related to them. Danny and a few friends from the streets shifted all the toys we'd been donated, and took them to Caritas for their family projects. 
Early evening I met a few people for a drink, then home for bedtime and to make a cake for Asha's school tomorrow...all the families are going in for hot chocolate and cake.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A lady giving us 6 gift bags for the homeless, with brand news hats and gloves, chocolate etc etc.
2) A brief and needed siesta - thankyou Danny!
3) Walking home from school with Asha & Nate.
