Had a long day at work, finished at 8 and headed straight for Matt’s for the big Christmas meal.

The “too many cooks” thing was definitely proved wrong - 18 of us were there, with various parts of the meal cooked by about 12 of those - and it was one of the best roasts I’ve ever eaten.

Ben and James did a Christmas Quiz after dinner - my favourite bit was a close-up photo round called Trump Or Turkey. Regular breaks to refill wine glasses and calm down from the competitiveness of the
quizzing made for a very late night.
