Some sort of Fly - think it's a Hover Fly.

Mistress spent the day working on Captioning hours for the Deaf today. Once a month she tallies up the number hours that is captioned to prove to the Govt that the Deaf and hearing impaired people of NZ, All 700,000 of them, only get access to 23% of total television - and this is only on TV1, 2, and 3, the only free to air channels that give captioning.

Once a month the Mistress gets frustrated about this and mutters about how its a human right to have access to things that hearing people have. Most countries have laws to make captioning compulsory, and then it's the job of the broadcasters to follow the law and put captioning in. In NZ there is no law, and the govt funds what little we have and tells us it can't be increased. They also say they don't want a law. They can't seem to see that if it was the job of the Broadcasters, they wouldn't have to fund it.

The Mistress sometimes wonders about the intelligence of politics. Then again, if everything was captioned, she'd probably watch TV and not work on her photos!!
