Orchid

It has grown a bit, but still deciding whether to show its face to the winter sky.

After we cut off the previous flower, we now learned from Gardeners' Question Time on BBC Radio 4 that one are supposed to cut the spent flower stem above the highest notch so that a new stem can start from there. We'll know for next time.

Left work at 19:30 with no benefit to me. 

C had a work meal. As they started early he was ready to be picked up early and we could be all snuggled up by 21:00.

We had to fight off an invasion of flies, before we could go to bed. For some reason there is a bunch of huge flies flying around in the house. Maybe the body buried under the patio has been discovered.
