Straight Outta The Creek

My Dear Fellows and Dear Princess Normal,

This is a present from Lemon! You may not remember, but she comes from Cannon's Creek, a neighbourhood in Porirua that proudly considers itself a "one-gang town". 

It has something of a reputation, so Lemon tells me. 

(Mental note: Must get Lemon a Begbie t-shirt in return).

We met up today for lunch and to wish each other Happy Xmas and all that. She was very excited about the house* and she told me all about the Xmas concert that she is taking part in.

It sounds, as always, hilarious. And I accused Lemon of taking part purely for the comedy value. As usual it is the feisty old ladies who provide the comic relief, shouting at other members of the choir and insisting that they can't attend the dress rehearsal on Saturday because it is "Housey Night". 

Afterward I went out and did some last-minute Xmas shopping and got DRENCHED. The rain was PELTING down (see extra).

Still, I remain in a good mood. And why? Because this is my last working day for TWO WHOLE WEEKS. Wheeeeeee!!

Oh, also, "Happy Birthday Jesus". Ahem.
