Fred

This is my dear Fred who was with me for 16+ years. I found him and his three siblings, Midget, Duffy and Daisy in the middle of a busy street when they were probably about 10 weeks old. I stopped the car, scooped them up and never looked back. It was one of those just-happened-to-be-in-the-right-spot-at-the- right-time moments.

The little glass "Fred" was a gift from my son and the rather sad oil painting is my one attempt at that art form. Fortunately I have some really nice photographs of Fred.

I've had a lot of cats and dogs in my life and each one was special but Fred was way more than special -- he was my best friend and his life made mine better - (Mar, he was my Cuddles). I think of him all the time and I'm so glad he was with me for such a long time. I was very lucky.
