The castle

We did a little Christmas shopping this morning and would like to complete it tomorrow; we’ll see. After lunch I went into town to get a blip and this view at the end of Princes Street was the first I took and the best as the light rapidly faded. I only noticed today that the Caledonian has turned into a Waldorf Astoria and that it was 5 years ago. Just like the North British at the other end of Princes Street it will remain the Caley to most Edinburgh residents of a certain age.
