The Marie Curie tree...

Gail and I had arranged a meet today. She’s been unwell, a cold and fever, so I said I’d go to her house instead of the planned Westerham tea. We meet far less often now as she is living life to the full. Very different from this time last year.

Good job... I arrived as she was getting into her car having totally forgotten she was supposed to have decorated a tree for a tree festival in Oxted. So we went together and with another friend and did a pretty good job I think, in very little time. Gail had received pens, pencils, daffodils and travel pass wallets from Marie Curie and they all served to make a lovely yellow tree in the colours of the charity. I have sadly cut off the top of the tree which sported a lovely yellow pom pom hat.
