Red sky

After yet another damp, grey day which I spent largely at the computer, there was a sudden burst of colour at sunset - too brief for me to go anywhere more photogenic, so I snatched a shot in the garden, focusing on the willow rather than the pine this time. This tree probably won't look like this much longer as we're planning to have it pollarded for safety reasons in the next couple of months. 

In the evening I headed into town for a 'work' night out. Being self-employed we don't have the usual work Christmas party, but we now meet up with a couple of colleagues for a meal and drink in the run-up to Christmas. In truth, it's largely dominated by our family as we all work so closely together!
