SANTA IN ANTIQUITY SHOP
My entry for the Wide Wednesday Challenge with the theme Christmas. Huge thanks to BobsBlips for hosting.
The day started a bit grey, but soon the sun shone and as we had yesterday decided to have a look at the new bridge over the new (will take years before this will be finished) road outside Herstelle, we started early with sandwiches and water in our bag.
The bridge will useful to farmers, walkers, cyclists, and the wildlife of course, who must not cross the busy road in later times.
The sun shone and clouds appeared and disappeared again. We crossed the bridge (a kind of viaduct really) and for years now we had gone there and followed the interesting process. We walked the step path for a while, but went down again to find a bench in the sunshine and eat lunch there.
We drove back into our little town and I descended for a while because I had seen this Santa earlier and took some photos. Piet Hein went to the garage and we found each other again.
Back home the first thing we did, was take the pillows and sat in amazing sunshine at the balcony. Wow, how pleasant to see so much light again.
I will give my first silly hearts to Hanulli, KangaZu, PicturePoems, Kimb, Marlieske, and I had given CaliforniaGirl1 some day ago one.
