Bent Over, Double

Cloudy after a light snow overnight which left a dusting on the pond ice with very flat light. I was happy to be able to bring out some texture in the snow and show the animal tracks. What caught my eye though was the fallen tree branch and the two saplings trapped by its downfall. They create conflicting lines running through the image.

I processed the file to create a flatter, low intensity, low contrast image that reflected the mood of the day. Interestingly the texture of the outstretched limb stands out more in this light and I like the finger of the nearest tip leading into the frame.
