A Day Worth Recording

Togglewoggle

The house has a number of 'period' light switches - the round white plastic or ceramic ones on a wooden base.  Generally they are so painted over they need a hammer to uninstall.

We mused that it might be be nice to continue the style for the new wiring but at 40 quid a pop, 75 quid for a double, we became, um, most hesitant.

The compromise was to look at brass ones with both toggle and conventional rocker styles.

Nice to find they are made in Worcester. Bizarre to find we could buy the exact same make and models online at a third of the price the electrician was given by his wholesaler.
