Meerkat

Over to Metheringham today to see the Folks. My Dad got all his Christmas cards distributed yesterday - it took him ages as, if anyone saw him putting the card through the door and came out, he'd chat for a while! 

Not a lot to do there today, just fetch them some fish and chips from the village chippy. The owner knows I'm in the same industry and always wants to talk shop!

On the way home I noticed that the little meerkat ornament that someone put into the concrete of a wall has once again been given a little scarf to keep him warm! 

Ahmed rang us last night at work to tell us not to order potatoes or much of anything else, since we were going to be closed over the holidays - a very good sign!
