Hunkering Down....

Bryan, the Birman spent some time checking out empty cardboard boxes this morning. I suspect he wants to hunker down until all this Christmas activity and fuss is over. I don’t blame him. Duncan took him back to Havelock before lunch.
Margaret and Emily flew back to Wellington this morning. Our friend Norma is in hospital, having had surgery yesterday. I visited her before lunch today. She is looking good and is very perky.
We’ve had a lot of rain for Blenheim. And tonight we’ve had a thunderstorm and more rain....
