Cheese, Gromit?

I had a lousy photo of Stirling Castle at dusk as my only possible blip for today until I decided we needed cheese and biscuits tonight. Two of the cheeses here were a gift from elderly friends who had been given for Christmas a huge box of the poshest of cheeses from the poshest deli in Poshville, a mountain of cheese that was much too much for them (lucky us!). The brie was beginning to deliquese so we thought we ought to press on and get it eaten before it drips off the table! The cheeseboard was accompanied by our home-made peach and honeysuckle fruit cheese and a glass or two of home-made beech leaf noyau liqueur. Oh, I do love a good cheese board!
