Another robin
Sorry another Robin but he looked so nice sitting on the pot I could not resist him :)
A really , good frosty start with a beautiful sunrise and plenty of birds to and fro from the feeders. The tree creeper was on the tree in the garden, the woodpecker looked on from his perch up high in the oak tree and the cherry tree was full of goldfinches.
David sent us a message to say it was snowing in Dingwall. We had sleet but no snow at that time and we were surprised how much there was as we headed into Inverness.
We were delayed by a broken down Oil tanker that had broken down in one of the lanes. They were transferring the oil from one lorry to another.
Arrived at the Cinema and were told that the heating in the screen were we were to watch a film had broken down. They had mobile heaters in there and they could give us a free hot drink so we decided to give it a go. It was fine, we had the whole cinema to ourselves which was great, no rustling of packets etc. We watched ‘Knifes out’ which we both enjoyed :)
Off to Tesco to get some shopping and some photos printed and then to Eden Court to see a Gothic Christmas. Very good, do not know how the lady remembered it all. I did ‘switch off’ a few times though as it was just one person on the stage telling a story really.
Really slippery paths to get back to the car and a careful drive home.
