Not one but two !

The lily on the right is a present from a good friend. M &S, using Yodel as their delivery service, delivered it while I was in London. 

They left it, in rain and snow, in a  “safe place”  (not of my naming as I don’t have a front porch and it is full view of the road and the local social club.).

I arrived back home to find it soaking wet, and partially fallen over. I did a rescue job and it seems to have survived.

I told my friend. And thanked him. And told him of the plant’s story.

He took the matter up with M & S and yesterday, a replacement plant arrived. I was in, the lily was upright and dry, and now sits next to the less pampered twin.
