2019 Monday — Christmas Cards

Every day now the mail contains Christmas cards. Nine days till Christmas seems impossible. The holiday card from Funville will be deposited into the USPS soon and we will have officially joined the parade.

We create our own card every year. Mr.Fun works on composing the cover side, which used to be my specialty back in the paste-up days of graphic arts. Nowadays I’m busy writing the story, but that’s usually after I’ve taken a stroll page-by-page through my year of blip photos so Mr. Fun can create the cover. My MacBook Pro died in September, so I think I lost some photos unless we can find a technician who can get my laptop running again. Thankfully most of my photos are on my smartphone.

This year I did most of the addressing of envelopes. My address list is sure not as organized as it once was.
