Pacer

I was nervously excited about my parkrun plans today.
I would get to colour in the 13th different box for volunteer roles I’d tried but I’d need to try. And run at an even. Pace and finish at a pre-determined time.
I asked to aim for 40 minutes as it was a pace I could comfortably achieve. I headed off a little too fast and didn’t really lose the time, finishing at 39 minutes.
Really enjoyed it though and look forward to trying it again.
Jim decided to make a break at the end, leaving Gabi to chat with the spectators as she followed him to the finish.
We all then went for cake with Kaytie who was completing one of her last pre-op ‘runs’ as tail walker.
