The great invasion
It's still raining..............plus overnight, WE, transitioned to stage 6 load shedding, because a conveyor belt, carrying "the wet" coal, broke. Eish !
Since I am supposed to be going to the festival of lights, tonight, with Vanathy, STEP is not an option.
The best plan B, I could find - KICK, at 8 am.
To get my "light" exposure, I showed up early and took the happy box, outside, into the gym courtyard. I found my "office", rather messy. But, it looked like it was doubling as someone's else's office too. Haha ! See the extra.
The KICK class was hard going, but nice.
The instructor is someone different and I really appreciated the fact, that he made it clear, exactly how you should be "bashing" up, the phantom person, you are trying to KICK into oblivion.
When I returned home, this monster was climbing my walls. It is about 8 cm long - you can get an idea about it's size, in the shot in the extras.
When I got inside, I set about trying to find out, whether WE were still going. No one picked up the home phone and none of my whastapp messages were delivered. Eish ! Apparently because of load shedding, the cell phone networks are down too.
Eventually she called me - TO CANCEL.
For the record, we were cancelling, not because there was a 92 % chance it would rain, nor because a festival of lights, requires electricity and South Africa has none. The official reason - she can't walk. And is going to physio.
The good news, we could re-book the tickets and change the day.
So, I will be flitting about in the festival of lights NEXT WEEK, hopefully.
