Special Place

Went for a long walk today and despite recent rains we managed to keep dry feet.

Decided to curtail the walk early and bailed out down a path we've not walked before and found this place.

The house is behind the landing stage on a very nice sized lake and the winter aconites will be carpeting the woodland floor in yellow within days.
