One-lane bridge

This little bridge is along a backroads route from Cumberland to the amusement parks in Virginia. There was bad weather where we live, so Waze took us this way instead of on Interstate 68, which is mountainous and probably treacherous in icy weather.

Jill took this one-lane road once years ago and talks about it every time we have to take this route. We'd not been near it previously, but this time Waze took us right next to it, so Jill pulled over for my daily photo.

This bridge crosses the North River

Also today, Kings Dominion was closed because of the rainy and icy weather. This marks one year almost to the day that we weren't able to visit the park's WinterFest. Boo! Tomorrow we're going to Busch Gardens.
