A bit wet!

This morning the walking group went along the lanes from Chirk Bank to Chirk where we stopped for coffee then back along the aqueduct (extra of the group crossing).

The lanes were treacherous and really slippery with ice in some places and leaves on top of mud in others but luckily no one fell over.  Some of the lanes were flooded as is shown in the main photo so we either paddled or walked on the muddy bank.

We'd picked a bad time to call in the cafe for coffee as there were two other walking groups there plus other customers so it took ages to be served. I saw a friend of mine who was there with a different group so it was good to catch up with him.

It was an enjoyable morning despite the obstacles, it's always a good start to the week.
