Christmas is coming...

The festive spirit has finally taken hold.

David, Alan, his pal Andrew and Jordan sent the afternoon sailing on the Union Canal on the same boat we enjoyed in the summer except this time it was the Santa cruise :-))  They had a lovely time, cosy inside the barge with a visit from Santa who had gifts for them all.

I stayed home getting organised for the annual pre-christmas get together with Gail and LeeAnne.

The cruisers arrived back around four having had a great time.

LeeAnne arrived just before 6pm with amazing glitter strands in her hair.  Looked fab!  Sadly Gail couldn't join us as she wasn't feeling too great (missed you Dr T!) so we ate (LeeAnne was very happy that David was making his very buttery mashed potatoes), drank and were merry on her behalf.  It's hard work enjoying yourself.

Gift exchange was lovely.  These girls are such thoughtful gift givers, then hours of chat before tiredness finally overcame us just before 3am!
