Waxing Crescent

Finally after what feels like weeks the sky cleared this evening and I was able to get my scope out for a viewing of the crescent moon which has been in my mind for a good week. I was hoping to catch it last night but didn't get home before the clouds. Jupiter was looking pretty stunning too. Astrophotography is definitely on the list for 2013

Today has been pretty good on the whole, plans are laid as they say and work wasn't too bad either. Off to the cinema now for what could be the last time in a while. Oh and a double dose of soup today. Can't be bad.
