The calm after the storm.

For the past week work has been bedlam. The hospital is or was on red alert and they where struggling to cope with patient/bed allocations.
The team I work for offers patients a early support discharge from the hospital (hospital care at home) with patients with a COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) so our work load has been nearly double with patients at home and patients to see in the wards...
Anyway this is a rare sight for me tonight as I left work tonight. A empty corridor apart from the student nurse in the end.
