Living in Brabant

I'll Be There For you

I had a bit of a hairy cycle ride to and from work today; it had snowed a lot overnight. When I pulled up my blinds first thing, I stared at the crisp, white layer outside and felt like a little child. Which, to tell the truth happens quite a lot really ;) I did go out in my dressing gown and slippers and took a photo of the street. Couldn't resist it really, and because today was bin day, I already had my 'support' in the form of a dustbin.

Busy afternoon at work, a public snowball fight was organised in town, and also in Breda. Wished I could have been there, being childish....

Anyway, really noticed today that it's getting darker later, which is really lovely. But because I left work later than usual, it was dark. Walking past the campus canteen I noticed the piles of snow forming a rather lovely sculpture on top of the hedge. Almost like a flock of sheep even! Then I noticed the two friends, chatting and eating together.

Had a bit of a dip recently, but last few days I've had some good, old-fashioned physical hugs and some girly '(mail) support from a few good, trusted girly friends. You're important to me. Thank you. X
