Bleak...
Backblipped
Looked out at the side garden this morning. Summer days of sitting out there having a leisurely lunch seem a long time ago but comforted myself with the knowledge it is almost the shortest day then the days will start getting longer again :-)
Alan arrived home from his mini-adventure mid afternoon. He was full of the joys.
The day didn't end so joyfully though, as after a trip out in the evening with Jordan, we got a call from Jordan to say he'd had a bump in the car. Thankfully it wasn't serious and they weren't hurt but Jordan got a bit of a fright. I think he kept thinking about how much worse it could have been, as one does in that situation. Alan thought the whole thing hilarious!
They weren't far from home so when they back we told Jordan to relax and have a cuppa then just go home as he really was quite shaken. D offered to drive him home but he got his partner to come and get him. He was all concerned about the damage to the car but we did our best to reassure him that as long as he and Alan were ok, that was all that mattered.
