New toy!
A friend popped round first thing with a load of venison for our dinner party next weekend. It needs defrosting, taking off the bone and then marinading in red wine and brandy for a few days. The recipe is well worth the effort though.
I was supposed to be going into town to meet my Aunt and cousin who were travelling up from Cheshire for Christmas at the Botanics. Sadly, I’m still feeling rubbish so had to cancel. Such a shame as I haven’t seen either of them for years.
Instead I stayed warm and cosy at home, apart from a quick nip outside to try out my new lens ball. Have seen some stunning photography using them - if only we would get some snow...
