Inganess Bay
A beautiful sunny day here, though it might not appear so in this image. I walked up to Berstane and put up two buzzards from a hawthorn hedge. Buzzards haven't repopulated Orkney to the extent that they have the mainland of the UK, so two together aren;t a common sight here. There was also a nice female sparrowhawk hunting.
I was going to mention that the ship in the bay is The Anglian Prince, but thought I should check on a website that tracks ships all around the world. It identified the ship as a rescue tug called 'Herakles' but reading on I saw that it had reflagged from British to Maltese and had indeed been the Anglian Prince previously.
