A big thank you to you all for those kind comments, stars and hearts for my 3000th blip, and which put it in the spotlight.
Really behind at the moment, but I will try and thank you all personally, and also catch up with viewing your blips.

It has been a busy day, but oh so enjoyable.
We are fortunate to have a family which loves traditional Christmas food.
Seconds a thirds for the capon and all the veg.
which included 50 roast potatoes, and 45 sprouts, along with carrots and spiced pear and red cabbage.
Pigs in blankets always get a big smile from everyone. 36 of those went in a flash.
After a little break it was time for pudding.
Trifle, chocolate log, and Christmas pudding.
Again some seconds, and one or two had some of all three!

There were 9 of us this year as Hannah’s boyfriend Jacob came down from Uni. and Jenny came up from Sheffield Uni.
We ate early as she had to get back tonight.

We always start with delicious prawn and crab cocktail lettuce cups, which daughter-in-law Sarah makes.
Decided they would be my Blip for today, and also Hannah and Jacob.

All cleared up now. So glad I managed to get a replacement dishwasher a few weeks ago.
Now on it’s third cycle.
