Things are Looking Up!

Southmead Hospital is quite new, and as such has been constructed to look interesting as well as efficient. Everywhere you look there is something that could be a photograph, and this stairway is no exception.

Janet's improving. I haven't got her results from today yet but yesterday her kidney function has risen to 14%. Considering that's double what she was the other day, we're quite made up over it.

We celebrated with a long slow walk around the hospital and a naughty stop in one of the Costa cafes. It was a little quiet, being Sunday, but normally there are choir or piano recitals in the atrium.
