OaSis Christmas

The day finally arrived. All the preparation that G has done... The morning didn't feel too rushed, and we got to the venue in plenty of time. The hotel did their usual thing and didn't hoover the carpet properly and they provided equipment, but no-one to make it work. Oh well.

We had everything working by the time everyone arrived. Some ladies brought their offspring. Hmmm... G had planned nine games, all woven around the Christmas story. The ladies there rose to all the challenges we gave them and the morning culminated in a little skit performed by yours truly and G. We then had a little meditation and sang a couple of carols before going to the dining room downstairs for a three-course buffet meal which the church paid for. :)

SO PLEASED to finally get home to a cup of tea and afternoon siesta. We have delivered everything we took on, and I feel so liberated! Bring on Christmas, except I've got a week of work before I can have any time off. G is already in holiday mode.

The evening was spent doing three hours of ironing getting ready for the week. I spent over an hour going through the pictures from Wednesday evening, hoping to start back-blipping but it took too long. (Too tired to write a journal that would make sense.)
