Everlasting kale

My first trip to the allotmemt for weeks today and it was surprisingly unscathed after the wind, rain and general neglect. One of the pop-up fruit cages had popped all it's pegs and was hiding in the corner of the next plot, and there was a fair amount of standing water (it's not very well drained clay soil), but otherwise not too bad. I cut back the raspberries, attacked some more of the couch grass, unblocked some of the ditches I've dug and generally poked about for a couple of hours until I got too cold, and hungry.

Dressage teat practice this afternoon. I can see me pacing this out in the garden at this rate.
