Hello handsome
We decided on the bus I the end. No parking to worry about and mum has her free bus pass.
Hexham was packed as I expected. There were lots of stalls, people selling cheeses, chutneys, jams. The marmite and cheddar sausages were delicious. The usual stalls were there and quite a few different ones too. There was a lady selling reclaimed slate tile ornaments and cheeseboards for example.
These Reindeer were owned by a company from Durham and bred for Santa purposes only. The chap who owned them said it's not economical to rear them in the UK for meat due the the cost of land. In Scandinavia there are no boundries, fences/walls, etc for the herdsman, they are free to wander where they please, hence they can make a living form the herd.
