Boots Back On

After being too sedentary yesterday, some bright sunshine encouraged a morning walk today - from the house up into the BBOWT C S Lewis Reserve (in the picture) then on up into Shotover Country Park. Perhaps not the dramatic freshness that a Sunday walk on Scat Ness offers, but still good to be outside in the (more) natural world.  

The walk did trigger thoughts about the importance of having a 'walk from the house' available, where one doesn't need to top and tail the walk with a car journey.
