Holidays

This time of year is a wonderful reminder for me of the privilege to "do life" with great friends. I am reminded that due to logistics and geography, I spend more time with these great families than I do my own siblings. Taking time to celebrate the birth of our savior, share a meal and catch up on the important things in life is a true blessing.
Our Christmas brunch is one of my favorite days of the season. This year especially, as these friends walked right by my side through the past days of losing my mom. They listen, pray and feel - and when the time comes, break out a guitar and sing carols.
I hope you all get a chance to see and spend time with friends and family this Christmas season, it's one of the true blessings of the holidays.
