Cumbria Here I Come

Blipbear climbs a tree on his last day

Blipbear decided he wanted to climb a tree before moving on to his next destination so of course what Blipbear wants he gets! But before I let him do the climb I took him to Bowness on Solway to the end of the Hadrian's Wall Path to give him a history lesson! Hee hee only kidding about, the lesson bit. All he was interested in was hearing that the second-largest Roman fort on Hadrian's Wall was built in Bowness-on-Solway, and in the village pub, you can see the details of the fort. I think he was hankering after a drink myself, too bad the pub was closed!

But.....he was dying to climb a tree and had his eye on the trees in my garden. So climb a tree he did and when he got as far as he wanted to go he thought he'd have a go at swinging on the branch.... hmmm... didn't really work as he's obviously not built like a gymnast and its a good job I was there to catch him when he fell off!!

So that was his last adventure with me so I packed his bags and took him to Bitts Park in Carlisle to meet PaulaJ who he bonded with straight away! We had a wander around the park and found one of the last two Benchmarks which Paula has been blipping as and when she finds them. It was great to finally meet PaulaJ and I look forward to seeing what Blipbear gets up to next!

Here's a link to PaulaJ's journal and Bonnie appears in today's blip! PaulaJ
