Swedish elf on a shelf?

I finally got the last of the cards posted.. not counting the ones that need a letter added..

The rain stopped and we walked up to the park with Fletch. It was quite cool so we had a short stop in the greenhouse. They've decorated it as usual, lots of huge red and white cyclamen and a snow scene. Rather dark in there to show up the twinkly lights so not very brilliant snaps from the phone.. ( one in extras)

My main blip is of a little figure I was sent 30 years ago from a Swedish penpal.. a cuter version of the elf on a shelf. I'm not sure if it's an elf.. but it's cute and cheerful and she is always the first thing I put out at Christmas.

Tomorrow I'll get out the tree.  Then that's all. 
The presents wont be put under the tree till the last moment... Fletch is generally very good.. but he loves the excitement  of parcels so it's best to remove the temptation.  When we had Hamish our friends gave him a present which squeaked when we put it under the tree. When we d gone to bed  Hamish tried to find his present.. .. He managed to unwrap a few of ours before he found the right one !
