A day for staying indoors

SATURDAY

I had arranged to take one of the cars in for a service this morning which meant giving the Parkrun a miss. The garage is nearly 2 km down the road so it meant an uphill walk back home at 8:15 am. Temperatures were hovering just above freezing and there was a biting wind with short flurries of hailstones.

By the time I arrived home the sun was just beginning to appear on the horizon - I took this shot just down the lane.

The heating has been on all day. I have finally written the Christmas cards and updated my address list.

I did nip up to the shop (in hail and sleet) this afternoon to get some milk and hit 10,000 steps.
