An Ordinary Moment

Today's blip for the January challenge.

Both my dog, Milly and I crashed on the sofa after a walk in the snow. I often find myself with the warmth and weight of Milly's head on my lap. Today she snuggled her nose into the blanket, recovering from rolling in, running on and tasting the snow. She is a bit of a big kid when it comes to snow, waking up early to play in the garden and waiting by the window for me to come home and take her out.
