Stripes
The problem with having lectures in lecture theatres with no windows, is that the world can change around you and you don't even notice. The snow actually settled properly (for all of a few hours) which made walking up Blackford Hill interesting - and going down was worse! After my astrophysics lecture, I noticed the melting snow had left a pretty stripy pattern on the golf course. In the background you can see some of the King's Buildings, and further behind that, the Moredun Flats.
Off to see Les Miserables with my sister tonight ... squeal!
