Saatchi Gallery.....
We've had a day in Sloane Square, one of my favourite browsing places. It's become one of our pre-Christmas must- do s although we come up during the year too, and it never disappoints.
We began with lunch in Partridges, such a simple cafe area in a most beautiful grocery store. It's right next to Duke of York Square and there was a queue of people there today waiting for the next admission to the Tutankhamun exhibition at the Saatchi gallery. We will definitely be getting tickets ourselves. Studying the Ancient Egyptians was always the highlight of our Humanities studies when I taught Yr3 pupils.
Peter Jones was beautifully decorated and worth a browse. The view looking down from the top floor is pretty awesome and always makes my stomach churn.....my extra.
Back on the tube to High Street Kensington and a visit to our optician's with a gift before heading home again, where we ate pizza whilst watching the news and reviews of yesterday's happenings.
