Happy Feet

Another babysitting day - so another early start. Journey time today was 35 minutes door to door. Pretty much clear all the way. Why can’t it be like that every day?

Baby Emily is now officially a toddler! Yesterday afternoon she launched herself off from the security of the sofa and walked across the room - several times. She was so pleased with herself. She has been standing upright and ‘cruising’ around the furniture for a while now - with just an occasional couple of steps unaided. Today she has carried on - she can’t half go fast! I have tried and failed to get a photo of her in motion…so that will have to wait for another day maybe.

In need of a blip and some cheering up after the dreadful election result - this little penguin window decoration caught my eye as the sun came out briefly. It hasn’t stopped raining pretty much all day (again) and so we haven’t even been out for a walk. You can see the rain on the outside of the window
