Flood

About 20 mm of rain in the last 48 hours and some of the small streams have over topped the ditches and flooded the roads. Needless to say no-one has cleared surface water drains for years.
The snowflakes in the village have been posting on the Facebook page - predicting the imminent inundation of the whole village. They have never seen a proper flood in the village and after the Environment Agency spent over 2 million quid on reprofiling the river and building a bridge over the Ford,, hopefully they never will.
