Trying out my early birthday present

I am very lucky to have a new camera for my birthday which isn't actually until next week, but we will be in France with our youngest son then, so wanted to make sure that it worked. This is taken in the rain from indoors and the light was awful, so I  think I shall be very pleased with the camera!
