Dead Flowers #3 Orchid

I'm backblipping as I have been busy and have missed posting for several days now.

I like to photograph flowers, even when they have passed their best, there's something about the texture that's special. I had no particular reason for choosing to blip the dead phalaenopsis today but, thinking back to last week and realising the date, I wish I had chosen something more beautiful to mark the 3rd anniversary of my sister-in-law's death.
