Early vote

L and I were down at the polling station when it opened this morning... very dark at 7am at the moment.

“Mummy, we’ve been here before!”

For a three year old to remember going to the polling station we must have had too many elections recently!



Edit... I forgot to mention earlier as I blipped in a hurry:

This afternoon L’s nursery phoned me... please can I go to get her and take her to a doctor as she has come out in a rash of spots. Talk about freak me out! Amazingly when I phoned the doctor they had just received a cancellation for an hour later!

So L has a mild case of hand, foot and mouth disease. A bit of calpol and some rest and she’ll be fine in 48 hours, according to the doctor.

It’s not on the nursery exclusion list (according to the nursery and the doctor) but we won’t send her again until Monday as it’s quite contagious.
