Moonrise (Day 1680)
The wind pretty much disappeared overnight, and despite the darkness and very wet ground, the morning woofer wander was a lot more pleasant than last time I was out.
I collected a few bits from the merchants before heading to the shower room re-fit this morning, passing my beautiful wife heading home along the way.
The rest of the morning was swallowed up patching a bit of plasterboard and fitting the shower enclosure. Just before a late lunch, I made a start on fitting the unit for the washbasin. The afternoon was spent cutting worktop, fitting the basin, clearing up and silicone sealing the shower enclosure.
The last full moon of the decade was just starting to rise over Kirkwall as I put stuff in the van before sealing the shower. So nice to have had a bit of a view after days of gales and grey murkiness.
