Sedbergh Bookclub

Another wet day in Sedbergh. I walked into town this morning to vote while the rain paused for a short time   I caused a queue in the polling station as they couldn’t find me on there list, but that was sorted out and my voting form was completed. On my return home I prepared a chicken curry to go in the simmering oven to eat this evening. Then it was my bookclub meeting. Not a popular book. I nearly stopped reading it after the first few chapters. I had more sympathy for the dog in the picture than any of the humans!
